With the 2020 launch of One Community Real Estate®, Leigh continues her mission to support and develop REALTORS® who are both leaders and advocates in their own communities while still striving to serve buyers and sellers as their REALTOR® advocate. In the RPAC Hall of Fame x3 (high five if you know what that is).

Keri Epps-Rashad is the Director of Business Development of NC REALTORS® and the co-staff liaison to the Diversity Committee.  She has been with the association for 15 years. She is a native North Carolinian.  In her spare time, Keri loves to cook, attend UNC Football games and travel. She enjoys spending time with her two children Kayla and Kyler, grandson, Jace and her husband, Kerry.

 

 

 

 




As the Senior Vice President of Community and Industry Relations for Virginia REALTORS®, Leslie J. Frazier serves as the Association’s relationship manager for external organizations with shared interests and objectives. She focuses on issues impacting fair housing and real property policy. In addition, Ms. Frazier is the lead executive for the Association’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

 

Before becoming SVP of Community and Industry Relations for Virginia REALTORS®, Ms. Frazier worked for two Virginia governors. She advised the Governor and Secretary on issues impacting Virginia’s nearly 1 Million service members, veterans, and their families (SMVF), created the secretariat’s annual legislative and budget package, and worked with the Governor’s senior policy team and members of the Virginia General Assembly to create policies for the SMVF population. Ms. Frazier also directed a statewide initiative aimed at creating solutions for children, families, and workers in the Virginia’s child welfare system. It was her early endeavors on political campaigns where she garnered a foundation in community organizing, helping her to build relationships and foster strong connections to assist her with reaching her goals.

 

A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, Ms. Frazier received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and Spanish from the University of Virginia and her Master of Public Administration from Virginia Tech. She is also a graduate of two leadership programs under the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership. In her spare time, she serves as a member of the Virginia Board of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Virginia21 Board of Directors.

Andora Hinton has 25 years experience in leadership and sales development. Amy Kemp is the co-liaison to the NC REALTORS® Diversity Committee as well as the staff liaison to the NCR Property Management Division.  She also assists the Member Engagement Department and has been with the association for 7 years.  She is a native North Carolinian.  In her spare time, Amy loves to read, listen to podcasts, play tennis and travel.  She enjoys spending time with her 17 year old daughter, her husband and three dogs.

 

 

 




Charlie Y. Lee, Senior Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®

 

Charlie Lee joined NAR in 2018. Prior to joining NAR, Charlie was with the Appraisal Institute since 2008, where he served as Associate Counsel and as the primary legal counsel to 90 chapters, and subsidiaries which included for-profits, charitable and insurance organizations.  Charlie’s focus included trade association, corporate governance, not-for-profit taxation, cybersecurity, contracts, intellectual property, advertisement, employment and antitrust matters.  He also has professional experience in commercial and employment litigation, intellectual property, and serving as an Illinois state’s attorney appellate prosecutor.  

 

He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration and Management of Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated cum laude from the John Marshall Law School.   Charlie is admitted to the state bar of Illinois and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He is a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations, ASAE, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.  

 

 

 


Juanita McDowell

Juanita is an international speaker and educator. Every year her training firm delivers over 200 seminars to entrepreneurs, corporate employees, and associations across the globe. A former Engineer and Global Sales Executive, she speaks on topics such as Communication, Goal Setting, and Technology.

 

Businesses and associations that have hired Juanita include LG, the CDC, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Her expertise has been published in Fast Company magazine and the Investor’s Business Daily.

Stephanie Walker

 

Geilia is the Director of Community Engagement & Diversity for both the Atlanta REAL TORS© Association (ARA) and the Atlanta Commercial Board of REAL TORS© (ACBR). Hired by the associations only a few months ago, she has been able to create impactful relationships and develop some major wins. Modeling after the NAR example, Geilia executed MOU agreements with five major multicultural organizations. She also facilitated a long-desired relationship between ARA and the Atlanta Home Builders Association. With ACBR, Geilia supports the Diversity Mentor-Mentee program. She works closely with the Diversity Committees for both associations. In her community engagement role, she oversees the ARA Community Partner Sponsorship program ensuring that all sponsors take full advantage of their benefits. Geilia continues to identify and establish mutually beneficial relationships with a variety of community partners.

 

With more than 20 years' experience in various roles that required establishing and/or strengthening effective communications with community leaders, decision makers, and key stakeholders, Geilia has mastered the art of developing win-win relationships. Her primary expertise has been in the roles of Diversity Contracting Program Management, Public Engagement, and Community Outreach Liaison.

 

Geilia, a graduate of Jackson State University, completed specialized training courses for the management of minority, women, and disadvantaged business programs at the National Institute on Inclusion and the Tuck School of Business. She is able to motivate persons of diverse opinions to support a common vision.

•She has two adult children - Her daughter is a Public Policy Specialist with a non-profit that supports women's causes nationally; Her son is a college graduate and certified welder.

•She is a licensed limousine driver (fulfillment of a childhood fantasy).

•She has experience in entertainment as a Stage Manager and Production Assistant.

 

 

  

 

Stephanie Walker has been in the real estate business for more than 3 decades. That’s a lot of material for use in her energetic and informative classes. Her experiences, both in the field and volunteering at all levels of the REALTOR® association, give her plenty of real life, in the trenches stories to supplement her courses with actual scenarios that bring relevance, substance, and humor to attendees. Her newest offering, “Risky Business, Doing it Right” was just awarded the coveted 2019 Program of the Year award from the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Foundation. “Doing the right thing is not the problem. Knowing what the right thing is, that’s the challenge”. Attendees remark that sessions with Stephanie are enjoyable, informative, interactive and full of real-world examples that are relevant to the issues they face on a daily basis. She has found a way to make Ethics fun! Stephanie holds the ABR, CDPE, CRS, GRI, RSPS, SFR, and SRES designations and is trained in both REALTOR® and Superior Court Mediation. She is an instructor in Professional Standards Administration, Procedures and Process, Ethics, License Law, the NCREC annual update courses, GRI classes, REALTOR® Mediation, Ombudsman Training, Leadership Training and has become the “Go to” for Professional Standards and Ethics questions.

 

As the Broker/Owner of Stephanie Walker & Associates on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, she is a past President of both the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® and the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®. At the national level, Stephanie currently is the 2019 Law and Policy Liaison. She has served on the NAR Professional Standards Committee, the Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board, the Resort Real Estate Committee and on NAR Board of Directors since 2010. Stephanie served as the 2012 Chair of the National Association of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee and the 2013 and 2014 Chair of the NAR Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board. In 2015, she served as Liaison to the NAR President, serving the Association Executive Committees, Local and State Leadership Forums and serving on the NAR Executive Committee.

 

At the state level, Stephanie served as President in 2011 and was honored as the 2016 NC REALTORS® REALTOR of the Year. She has chaired the Bylaws and Professional Standards Committees, twice received with the NCAR Presidents award and is a recipient of the NCAR Regional Service Award. She currently serves as Chair for the NC REALTORS® William C. Bass Leadership Academy and is a long serving member of the Professional Standards Committee.

 

 

 


Cynthia Walsh

Cynthia Walsh is the CEO of the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR). She began her career in Boston, MA working in technology and continuing for the next 11 years in both the banking and insurance industries. Cynthia has been with the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® since 2005 and earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) and REALTOR Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation as well as various other certifications. She has been actively involved the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the North Carolina REALTORS® (NCR) serving on committees, mentoring and lending a hand whenever asked. Cynthia currently resides in Shallotte, NC with her two Boxer dogs Duke and Odin. Her son, Garrett, clearly spent too much time at her office growing up and is also a REALTOR®. Cynthia enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
