It is certainly my honor and pleasure to chair the committee this year.
Georgia is excited to host our friends and fellow AEs from North Carolina and
surrounding states. We are all looking
forward to learning and growing in this unique profession each one of us has
chosen to commit to. Although it can be challenging, I’m sure we can all agree
it is definitely rewarding.
The committee has met and really focused on the survey the AEs
participated in following the last Conference, which was fantastic (hats off to
North Carolina)! Our goal is to meet the needs mentioned in that survey the
best way possible, as well as try new ways to bring our AE community closer
together, COLLABORATING with one another while hopefully building new and
life-long friendships along the way. Having that support system to lean on can
be extremely helpful, especially to the newer AEs that have recently joined us.
We will have an AE Welcoming Committee consisting of AEs who have successfully
achieved their RCE Designation. RCE is the only professional designation
designed specifically for REALTOR® Association Executives. RCE designees
exemplify goal-oriented AEs with drive, experience and commitment to
professional growth. The purpose of this
committee is to help new AEs feel a little more at ease, as well as anyone else
who might feel a bit apprehensive when attending the conference.
We are fortunate to have a Networking lunch with the National
Association CEO, Bob Goldberg, sponsored by the Georgia MLS, and we will have a
State CEO Panel giving us the opportunity to hear from some of the BEST!
There are several other sessions and speakers we have prepared and look
forward to hearing from. Most of all, I hope each of you take time to get to
know new people while meeting up with old friends or traveling with close
compadres. We are in this together and everyone’s perspective is extremely
valuable. I look forward to seeing everyone in Savannah!
